Probably Louise Mutel is a daughter of the porcelain painter Alexandrine Mutel and a student of Mirbel. She establishes her activity as a portrait miniaturist exhibiting at the Paris Salon between 1839 and 1845, in the course of which she was awarded a medal three times.
