Taubert, Gustav Friedrich Amalius

Taught by his father, the miniaturist Johann Friedrich Taubert, he studied under Bardou at the academy in Berlin. In 1782 he lived in Dresden, until 1784 in Vienna and from 1785 to 1797 in Danzig (Gdansk). Between 1801 and 1825 Taubert worked for the Königliche Porzellan Manufaktur Berlin. He painted not only in miniature but also in oil, pastel, enamel and on porcelain.
