Antonio David

David, Antonio
(born most probably before 1684 Venice - after 1735)
Antonio David was a student and assistant of his father, the painter Lodovico Antonio David, and worked as a portrait painter in Rome around 1686. As of 1717 it is documented that he was in contact with James III. Stuart whose court painter he became beginning of the 1730s.
