The Tansey Miniature Collection
This DVD comprises all works of the exhibition “Rococo Miniatures from the Tansey Collection” opening at the
Bomann
Museum
in
Celle
in September 2008. The DVD contains furthermore the works of the previous exhibitions “Miniatures from the Tansey Collection”, “Miniatures of the 19th century from the Tansey Collection” and “Miniatures of the Revolutionary Period 1789-1799 from the Tansey Collection.” All texts exist both in German and in English. You find all information regarding the miniatures and the artists from all catalogues now included in one volume. In addition the DVD provides you with particulars as to the Collection and as to painting techniques. The miniatures can be displayed in high-resolution.
Now it is furthermore possible to view all miniatures by the same artist, to inspect existent reverse sides and signatures, to compare directly photographs of the miniatures and to look at the bibliographical reference from the individual catalogues.
